Assist in the preparation of pastry doughs, batters, fillings, and other components for desserts, cakes, cookies, and pastries.
Support the team in baking, assembling, and decorating a variety of sweet treats, ensuring quality and consistency in every item.
Assist in the presentation and plating of desserts for service, maintaining a high standard of aesthetic appeal and attention to detail.
Help manage the stock of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and reporting low stock levels to the Pastry Chef.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section, following proper food safety and hygiene protocols at all times.
Work alongside the Pastry Chef and other kitchen team members, helping with daily tasks and contributing to the smooth operation of the pastry kitchen.
Take the opportunity to learn new pastry techniques, gain hands-on experience, and improve your knowledge of baking and pastry arts.
Help with preparing pastries for special events, banquets, or seasonal menu changes as directed by the Pastry Chef.
