Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in food preparation : Help with the preparation and cooking of food under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Maintain kitchen hygiene : Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow recipes : Adhere to recipes and standards set by the kitchen.
• Support kitchen operations : Collaborate with senior chefs and colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Manage inventory : Check and maintain inventory levels, and notify senior chefs when stock is low.
• Learn culinary techniques : Master various culinary techniques and support chefs in daily tasks.
• Ensure food quality : Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience : At least 1-2 years of experience as a Commis I or similar position in 4-5 star property.
• Education : Diploma or degree in a culinary course or hotel management.
• Skills : Good culinary skills, ability to follow instructions, and strong communication skills.
• Team player : Willing to learn and work collaboratively with the kitchen team.
• Hygiene standards : Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED1,400.00 per month
