As a Commis, you\'ll be an essential part of our culinary team, bringing Italian flavours to life with every dish you prepare. From classic pasta dishes to innovative creations, your culinary skills and attention to detail will help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications.
Ensure that all food preparation and cooking procedures adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
Contribute creative ideas for menu development and participate in menu tastings and evaluations.
REQUIREMENTS
Italian citizenship or other EU nationality preferred.
Previous experience as a cook or chef in an Italian restaurant or similar culinary environment.
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
