We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and contribute to the overall efficiency of the kitchen while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in a dynamic culinary environment. . Key Responsibilities: . Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide range of dishes, following the head chef's or sous chef's instructions. . Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipe specifications and presentation standards. . Support in maintaining kitchen organization, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients. . Help with the cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment. . Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the kitchen supervisor. . Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment. . Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service during busy periods. . Be willing to learn and take on additional responsibilities to support the kitchen's overall operations. . Qualifications and Skills: . Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation. . Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred but not required. . Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality dishes. . Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. . Good time management skills and the ability to multitask. .
