Your Role:

As a Commis Chef, you will:

Prepare mise-en-place with precision and efficiency before each service. Assist the Chef de Partie in cooking and plating dishes during service hours. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene. Uphold the LPM culinary philosophy by respecting and enhancing the quality of ingredients. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations. Adapt to various tasks and challenges with flexibility and professionalism.

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience in the culinary field. Previous success in a similar position is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Basic knife skills and a solid understanding of recipes and SOPs. Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in food preparation. Knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards. Proficiency in English, both written and oral.

Personal/Interpersonal Skills:

A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
