COMMI CHEF

•Location: UAE (Abu Dhabi , Dubai)•

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Commi Chef to join the culinary team. The Commi Chef will assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in line with our restaurant's standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for culinary arts to develop their skills in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is required.
• Culinary education or certification from a recognized institution.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: Abu Dhabi locations
• Saturday to Sunday: Dubai locations
• 1 day off (any day as per roaster)

Job Specifics:

As the Commi Chef, you will have the privilege of working exclusively for the owner, a prominent woman. Your role will encompass not only culinary excellence but also flexibility in traveling with the owner, ensuring that her culinary preferences are met wherever she goes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior chefs in preparing ingredients and executing cooking tasks according to recipes and specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and handling of food items.
• Always follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
• Actively participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or issues to senior staff.
• Adhere to kitchen procedures and protocols to maintain consistency and quality in food preparation.
• Receive training and guidance from senior chefs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
• Support the team in maintaining high standards of presentation and food quality.
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle pressure in a professional manner.
• Reliable and punctual with a commitment to excellence in food quality and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a team.
• Good communication in English and presentable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
