As Commis 2 - Banquet we rely on you to:
- Assist in the daily operation/production of the Banquet kitchen
- Maintain high standards of food preparation and service along with the existing standards
- Reflect the Shangri-La philosophy by providing the highest quality of service to our customers
- Good knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu contents
- Practice the hygiene and sanitation procedures set by the hotel
- Has a diploma/certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent is preferred
- Preferably has experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel background
- Must be a friendly, helpful, and trustworthy leader
- Enjoys planning, organizing, and problem solving
- Communicates with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
- Enjoys being challenged
- Displays curiosity and takes time to learn and understand new culinary trends
- Committed to serving food of the highest quality
