Role Overview: To prepare and cook food on a daily basis according to business requirements and as directed by the Chef de Partie Main Duties: Organize together section with regard to mise-en-place, production and its service. Take orders from Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correct manner Together with Chef de Partie write daily wine, dry store, food requisitions and kitchen transfers on the appropriate forms in order to achieve the high stock rotation desired in their section Work to the specifications received by the Chef de Partie regarding portion size, quantity and quality as laid down in the recipe index Responsible for completing the daily checklists regarding mise-en-place and food storage Attend daily and monthly meetings with the Chef de Partie Report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Chef de Partie and to follow up and ensure the necessary work has been carried out. Keep the section clean and tidy. Maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance and professionalism Follow resort policies and procedures, demonstrate efficient teamwork and contribute to the achievement of business goals Any additional duties or tasks assigned by your supervisor that are required for the smooth running of your department. Minimum Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 High school diploma or GED. \xc2\xb7 Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree, diploma, or certification in culinary arts is advantageous. \xc2\xb7 A food handler\'s license. Preferred Experience: \xc2\xb7 Having strong knowledge about food and hygiene and safety standards. \xc2\xb7 Having strong stamina because this job will require you to stand in a long period. \xc2\xb7 Proven commercial kitchen experience. \xc2\xb7 Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations. Operating Environment: \xc2\xb7 Is carrying out his duties as a waiter in all indoor/outdoor areas of the Club where food and beverage is prepared and served. \xc2\xb7 Maintains the highest standard of professional ethics \xc2\xb7 Emphasize and projects a high image for the resort \xc2\xb7 Is concerned with the operation objectives of the resort.
