Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis Chef specializing in Italian cuisine to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in Italian culinary techniques and flavors. This position requires a deep understanding of ingredients, food safety standards, and local regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist senior chefs in food preparation and cooking.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring.
Ensure all food items are stored properly.
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in the plating and garnishing of dishes.
Participate in kitchen training and development programs.
Support the kitchen team during service hours.
