Identify new business opportunities and grow existing customer relationships in various industries, such as oil & gas, chemical, power and water, Pulp & Paper, F&B
Capable to support, install and troubleshooting mechanical seals and other John Crane products at customer site with minimum required technical guidance.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, to adjust sales strategies accordingly;
Maintain existing customer relationships and aim to create new and last longing ones;
Manage the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to delivery and after-sales support while providing technical support and clarifications;
Discuss and support the negotiation of contract terms and tenders while managing internal and external stakeholders;
Record and accurately maintain customer information, opportunity data in CRM (C4C);
Assure correspondence flow and proper communication of John Crane Abu Dhabi office with suppliers, customers, distributors and local authorities;
Assist Finance in resolving payment issues in case of product discrepancies our inaccurate invoices;
To provide technical support to customers/distributor and prepare notifications for non-compliances when and if required while meeting or exceeding sales targets and main KPIs;
Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands;
Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans, prioritize deliver accurate order forecasts;
Responsible for exercising due diligence towards health & safety of self and others within the organization;
Ensures compliance with the applicable HSE instructions, requirements, laws and regulations received from customers, regulatory and statutory bodies
QualificationsEducation/Training: University degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechanical or Industrial) or proven experience to support all the required task with minimum supervision.Experience: Desirable: 5+ years of professional experience in technical and commercial fields.Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.Knowledge/Skills: Commercial knowledge in a proactive multinational and multicultural environment.Strong technical knowledge of John Crane product portfolio or similar IndustryKnowledge on pumps and compressors is a plusKnowledge of oil & gas, petrochemical and general industriesKnowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.Languages: Fluent in English, Arabic will be advantage.KEY COMPETENCIES:
Proven experience in the industrial field of rotating machinery (Technical and Commercial);
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
Problem solver with good organizational Skills;
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact easily with multi-national peers;
Proactive and with a Can do Attitude, trustworthiness & Ethically sound with solid negotiation abilities;
Independently reliable & self-sufficient whilst working as part of a wider team;
Knowledgeable about ERP and CRM tools.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Willingness to travel frequently to client, site inspections, aiming business development.
Valid driver's license.
