ABOUT THE ROLE :
Responsible for commercial aspects of projects in UAE, maintaining project financials for actuals and provides forecast / budget. Co-leading of the project together with project manager with the objective of executing the project according to the defined project management standards, customer requirements and the applicable financial reporting guidelines. Partnership and collaborate with the project team for smooth execution.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILTY:
• Co-leading the projects together with Project Manager in managing targeted financial results in the areas of revenue, profit, cash, asset position and financing instruments.
• Ensures an adequate handover phase.
• Drives the review and evaluation of the contract conditions incl. all attachments, ensures examination of Contract in details with Project Team.
• Coordinates together with the PM the proper allocation of onshore and offshore costs.
• Work with close collaboration with offshore CPMs to manage project financials, maintain actuals, forecast and budget. Ensures forecast accuracy.
• Ensures the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project books and records, incl. recording of such in respective ERPs.
• Prepares commercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensures the accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e. FC, MIKA, cash flow). Actively participates and lead commercial discussions in cost review sessions with project team.
• Actively performs asset management, initiates invoicing according to project progress and contractual terms. Ensure payment is received on time and allocated properly.
• Risks, contract and claims management, highlights risks proactively and work with project team to raise alternative solutions.
• Actively manages cost and invoices to optimize the project's financials and cash flow,
• Actively communicates with Customer's representatives and manages resolution of commercial issues.
• Ensures efficient communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders,
• Cost and Progress Management and close interface to the Controlling/reporting team.
• Drives internal and external audit requirements.
• Ensures the application and the continuously managing financial instruments.
• Ensures compliance with FRG and local GAAP requirements.
• Ensures Business Conduct Guidelines
• Ensures relevant tax and regulations.
About you
• Business Administration/ Finance qualification
• CPM Certification is required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Service Business experience and LTSA experience is an asset.
• High proficiency level in IFRS and US-GAAP requirements
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-starting and assertive
• Advanced skills in Microsoft package (Excel, PowerPoint) mandatory
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Ability to respond resourcefully and constructively to new demands, priorities, and challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team.
