Partnered with a Shipping and maritime global leader, specialised in ship repair, offshore fabrication, towage and shipping agency support - they are seeking a new Commercial Manager specialised in Marine Estimation to join their Shipyard based in Qatar. The role will be accountable for the monitoring and delivery of set estimating strategys aligned to business plans and revenue forecasts, whilst managing a team of estimating experts to perform sales, bidding and tendering processes as needed. Key Responsibilities: Acting as point of accountability for the estimating team, providing guidance on quotations & biddings. Review client specifications, T&C's and check credibility. Inputting for weekly planning and cyclical processes. Prepare the tenders/order review checklist to required standards - providing recommendations. Ensure resource planning and leveling is completed in a structured timescale. Submitting quotations, meeting client's needs and winning business. Conduct analysis as required. What they need from you.. 5-years+ of experience within a Senior Estimator function within Ship Repair (LNG/LPG vessels). Demonstrated strong management experience. Shipyard experience (Mandatory) Hands-on approach and can-do attitude. Team player mentality. Strong technical knowledge combined with commercial skills. Ability to integrate effectively within an established and well-functioning team. Excellent and confident communication skills. Expat package on offer.
