JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Commercial Business Analyst is a general support to the Head of Commercial Development (direct reporting line)
Understands, analyzes, and identifies Trends and Opportunities followed by regional implementation and aligned with global strategy.
Control and follow up on the main contracting KPIs (with special focus on G&Ds and Supplier Income) that impacts on quality and business performance (commercial conditions impact, contracting renewal performance and volume impact, etc.)
Commercial activity tracking by getting KPIs that helps the managers and frontline team to detect contract / offers mistakes in Atlas as well as to understand what type of negotiations are conducting the teams in key hotels such as G&Ds, and Core 1-4 hotels.
Top ups, stop sales, release, min. stays weekly tracking to detect where we can have a potential gap to fix it immediately.
Sourcing initiatives tracking: Renewals, Supplier income and other important KPIs at sub-regional level in order to track teams achievements in the weekly basis to ensure we are in line with regional expectations.
G&D review and tracking: detect and analyse deviations, exposure control at hotel level by reviewing actions taken to correct those potential deviations and ensure we are properly optimizing the agreements and minimizing risks.
Act as a link between subregions. Makes sure everybody has access and accurately uses all the available information/techniques/procedures/systems.
Shares regular follow-ups on current initiatives at region level, to give RD a clear view.
Responsibilities:
Make sure all subregions are correctly aware and accurately using all techniques/systems at their disposal by sharing the information and fixing the issues they may face.
Regular follow-up at region level on current initiatives by creating and sharing clear files with updated data
Regular tracking of G&Ds, Supplier Income, renewals and other relevant KPIs by creating dashboard and relevant dashboards in Tableau, sharing the relevant information with the team
Skills:
Deep knowledge on Hotelbeds systems (Atlas, Maxiroom, One contracts, CRM, Rates Simulator, Tableau) and organigram (who does what).
Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects & tight deadlines.
Ability to quickly understand what is required and to elaborate the conditions to get it.
Ability to quickly adapt to unexpected new priorities.
Experience and qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in Commercial analysis
Demonstrated experience in Excel.
Demonstrated experience in Tableau desktop.
Experience in Salesforce would be a plus.
High level of written English
Tourism or Business degree as basic Qualification
