Position Overview:

Spencer Interiors and Contracting LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fitout Commercial and Contracts Manager to oversee the contractual aspects of our fitout projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in contract management, negotiation, and compliance within the fitout industry. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, negotiate, and manage all contracts related to fitout projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and projects, ensuring all stakeholders are aware and protected.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, ensuring projects are completed within agreed-upon budgets.
• Oversee and assist selection, evaluation, and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with the existing contractual terms and standards and addressing any deviations.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely delivery.
• Handle any claims or disputes arising from contracts, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, amendments, correspondence, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Prepare regular reports on contract status, project progress, and financial performance for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in contract management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial and contracts management (with fitout or construction industry preferred).

Skills required:

• Strong understanding of contract law and commercial terms.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
