The Role
: We are seeking a Command Center Monitoring Engineer with 2+ year of experience in utilizing ManageEngine tools to join our team. As a Command Center Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining the health and performance of our IT infrastructure using ManageEngine's suite of tools. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: o Monitor the performance and availability of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, applications, and databases, using Manage Engine tools such as OpManager, Applications Manager, and Network Configuration Manager. o Detect and analyze alerts and events generated by Manage Engine's monitoring tools, and take appropriate action to resolve issues in a timely manner. o Perform routine health checks and maintenance tasks on critical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. o Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, and escalate to senior engineers or management as needed. o Document and track incidents, changes, and resolutions in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records. o Provide timely updates and communication to stakeholders regarding the status of incidents, maintenance activities, and planned outages. o Participate in shift-based schedules to provide 24/7 coverage of the command center, including weekends and holidays. o Collaborate with other command center engineers and IT teams to develop and improve monitoring processes, procedures, and documentation. o Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new features of Manage Engine tools, and recommend enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of monitoring and management.
Requirements
Qualifications: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. o 1 year of experience working in a command center or network operations center (NOC) environment, with hands-on experience using ManageEngine tools such as OpManager, Applications Manager, or Network Configuration Manager. o Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, applications, and databases. o Familiarity with network protocols, technologies, and architectures, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching. o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. o Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team and interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels. o Certifications such as ManageEngine Certified Professional (MECP) or ManageEngine Certified Associate (MECA) are a plus.= o Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
