Position Summary You will be responsible of creating Detailed Production Schedules taking into consideration material availability, line capacity, labor availability, line related stoppages and maintenance plans. You will also ensure availability of raw and packaging materials through proper replenishment and communication with suppliers.
A day in the life of...
Create a feasible detailed production schedule within the agreed planning time fence with appropriate sequencing to optimize asset stream efficiency and stock availability.
Agree on plans to minimize impact on customer service levels and working capital.
Create and optimize replenishment plans for raw and packaging materials over an 18-month horizon to ensure supply of material to production, whilst meeting working capital targets and stock cover policies.
Manage exceptions with suppliers & follow up on delivery short falls and quality issue with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance ensuring plans are developed with the supplier and procurement to close gaps as necessary.
Complete and monitor production planning master data to ensure accurate production, requirement and supply plans are reflected on GLOBE.
Ensure proper alignment between supply planners, procurement, and factory teams.
Build and maintain robust relationships with stakeholders to ensure an optimized plan is published on time, which the teams are motivated to deliver. Drive connectivity between Nestle planning, procurement, and suppliers.
Work with the business to plan and influence timings on new product development.
Manage supplier relationship locally within the supply stream. Complete all production planning and network planning master data for NPDs, to ensure accurate production, requirement and supply plans can be entered in GLOBE.
What will make you successful
Engineering Degree from any relevant field, preferably in SC management or computer science.
Strong communication skills to coordinate across the entire value chain, from the production shop floor to the suppliers abroad.
Advanced Computer Skills.
SAP Knowledge is a plus.
