About The Role
We are looking for COE manager to supervise and manage the smooth and efficient operation of a small cluster of Caffe Nero branches within a specific area, to ensure brand standards are adheared to and to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. To develop leadership within Caffe Nero and provide a training ground, mainly a center of excellence, for all new leaders within the business.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the outlet operations and brand guidelines are adhered to as required by the company
and franchise standards
• Conduct business reviews with store managers to provide feedback on performance and plan actions
to maximize profits.
• Seek new opportunities to drive and create additional sales.
• Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to enable the area/operations manager to plan
future strategies and action plans to stay ahead of competition, increasing sales.
• Manage margins
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure that the outlet operations and brand guidelines are adhered to as required by the company
and franchise standards
• Oversee all cash management procedures including system transactions, control and voiding system,
opening and cash out procedures, system reconciliation, daily banking procedures
• Handle customer queries/comments and escalations to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Prepare weekly reports and provide relevant feedback and suggestions to
the area/operations manager to maximise operationsl efficiency.
• Maintain optimum stock levels to ensure smooth running of operations to cater to customer demands.
• Ensure all products delivered to customers as per brand standards.
• Manage wastage and variance as per agreed targets.
• Adhere to the strict statutory requirements and establish health, hygiene and safety policy and
standards within the outlet.
• Ensure compliance with all legislation and ATG policies.
• Ensure Brand audits, Coffee audits, GWR, Bwise and Delight scores are on target
• Provide necessary trainings, conduct training reviews to employees of all level within the brand.
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and direction to subordinates towards the achievement of goals and objectives
• Onboard and train all new leadership trainees within the brand
• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work,
and ensure that they are continuously developed for higher level roles
• People planning and successfully managing cluster Rotas
• Plan and execute team building events
• Plan and execute village meetings
• Cafes visits with coaching and development plan
• SL, ASM, MIT sign-off and interviews
• Coaching and mentoring SMs
About you
- Education/Certification and Continued Education: High school
• 5 years' experience as store manager for Caffe Nero or similar brand position
