: As a CNC Programmer & Operator at the Connaught Door Centre Ltd, you will be responsible for programming, operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machinery to manufacture components for doors, fire doors, frames, various ironmongery and related products. Your role will involve programming the CNC machine, setting up the materials, and ensuring that all products meet the company\'s quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Operate Biesse CNC machines to produce parts and components according to specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Read and understand door schedules for doors and fire doors
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software and Proficient with B_Solid software (important).
- Set up and maintain CNC machines, including loading materials and changing tools
- Monitor the machining process and make adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and quality
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Have an all round excellent knowledge of Biesse CNC machines and manufacturing of doors and fire door prehung door kits
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in reading and understanding door schedules and related terminology
- Skilled in programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software (BSolid)
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery and tooling
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines
- Making and manufacturing door sets into prehung kits.
