Job Title: CNC Operator - 4-Axis Router Machine (Woodworking)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to operate our 4-axis router machine for woodworking. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality wooden components for various furniture and cabinetry projects. You will work with detailed blueprints and CAD/CAM files to ensure precision, accuracy, and the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Setup and Operation:

o Set up and operate the 4-axis CNC router machine for wood processing, ensuring the correct tooling and material are used.

o Load materials (e.g., wood, MDF, plywood) onto the machine and ensure proper alignment for accurate cutting and shaping.

o Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, depth, and cutting parameters) based on the specifications of the project.

2. Programming and Calibration:

o Input and adjust CNC programs (G-code or similar) from CAD/CAM files to control the router for complex cutting, milling, and engraving tasks.

o Calibrate and adjust the machine regularly to ensure consistent quality and precision of cuts.

o Modify programs when necessary to accommodate custom jobs or changes in design specifications.

3. Quality Control:

o Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications, including dimensions, shapes, and finishes.

o Monitor the machine while in operation and adjust settings to maintain optimal performance and product quality.

o Conduct routine checks on completed parts for any defects or inconsistencies and make necessary adjustments.

4. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

o Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of the CNC router machine, including checking and replacing tools, lubricating parts, and ensuring the machine remains in good working condition.

o Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or technical issues that arise during production, escalating more complex problems to the maintenance team when needed.
