Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit https://careers.accor.com/The Cluster Senior Sales Manager (Meetings and Venues) is responsible for the delivery of budgeted meetings and venue revenue in Hotel main F&B Outlets, ensuring cross selling and maximum penetration is optimized for all hotel revenue streams and to build on the long-term commercial success for the hotels in line with the strategy.
Create and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue from meetings, events, and F&B outlets.
Ensure that all agreed to sales strategies and are fully implemented and achieve assigned revenue targets
To assist Hotel Manager in cluster commercial lease contracting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate accounts.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competition in the meetings and events sector.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate events and other gatherings.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure successful execution of events and guest satisfaction.
Monitor sales budgets and forecasts, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel\'s offerings.
Train, mentor, and lead junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback for senior management.
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the hotel\'s event spaces and F&B offerings, including online marketing, print materials, and social media.
Gather and analyse customer feedback post-events to improve services and offerings, ensuring continuous improvement.
Work closely with the marketing, catering, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure seamless service delivery.
Assist in the development of annual budgets and revenue projections related to meetings and venues.
Promote and implement sustainable practices within events and F&B services, appealing to eco-conscious clients.
Develop contingency plans for events to handle unforeseen challenges or emergencies effectively.
Regularly assess competitor offerings and pricing to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the market.
Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to generate leads and referral opportunities.
Organize and host familiarization trips or site visits for potential clients to showcase the hotel\'s facilities and services.
Implement metrics to track the success of sales strategies and events to inform future planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hotel sales, specifically in meetings and events, with a focus on F&B outlets.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Deep understanding of the hotel industry, event planning processes, and food and beverage operations.
Sales or hospitality certifications (e.g., CMP, CMM) may be advantageous.
Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong customer service orientation.
