Make it your story.This position reports toLocal Division Manager, PAEN, UAEYour role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible to oversee all sales activities in order to achieve defined targets for Cluster (UAE, Kuwait) the role requires in depth knowledge of the market, competition, and the applications within the energy industries. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries based in Abu Dhabi UAE. You will be mainly accountable for: xe2x80xa2Generating business leads and should have a healthy network with End Customers, Consultants and EPC Contractors enabling to maintain and grow the pipeline for the business. xe2x80xa2Developing large projects and when appropriate, leading capture teams (CTS)/sales teams to push active sales efforts. xe2x80xa2Having good knowledge of the customers understanding the underlying customer needs and identifying new business opportunities, as well as maximizing the business potential with existing customers. xe2x80xa2Market scanning and gathering market Intelligence. xe2x80xa2Pipeline development by identifying target projects and qualifying them using opportunity screening as per the guidelines. xe2x80xa2Project Development by supporting the EPC and End User during early project stages. xe2x80xa2Maximizing the chances of ABBs winning chances by taking strategic actions (Capture Team Selling) xe2x80xa2Following the Internal Process of Tendering Screening and Risk Review to ensure that the tendering is submitted in time in line with the company guidelines. xe2x80xa2Performing Win / Loss Analysis based on tender result ensuring lessons are learnt and hit rate is improved.Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Control Engineering
  • 15 plus years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry in sales role
  • Strong record of results achieved through sales demonstrating the capability to succeed in the current role.
  • Knowledge & experience leveraging Install Base to develop and capture new Install Base or up sell additional systems (scope) would be considered as of significant importance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
