Director of Communication
This position is responsible for managing all key marketing and events, including advertising, direct marketing, online marketing, and events planning and organizing to support the business objective set for the marketing communication planning, budgeting, execution, reviews and results measurement taking in consideration the available brand standard and tools.
Moreover, this position is concerned with creating and maintaining a high profile and positive image of the resorts, ensuring customer preference for the hotel, maximize hotel exposure through online and social medial channels as well as partnership programs.
To develop and foster a positive image and relationship with the public, i.e. Media, VIP guests, Celebrities, Clients and the Community.
What you will be doing:
Management & Leadership of the Marketing Team
• Conduct photo shooting for Rooms, F&B, and generic shots and special events.
• Support the sales department by developing the sales tools including presentation file, corporate gift, multimedia tools etc. to ensure the most appropriate communication of the hotel, the product, and the brand.
• Develop and implement the collateral and promotional materials of F&B outlets as well as actively promote the resorts' outlets in the market.
• Manage E-Newsletter, E-Blast, Poster, Flyer, and Banner as well as update TV screens in guest rooms and LCD screens on the lobby, and others.
• Support other departments for the standard of internal and external communication, printing materials, presentation files, other tools etc. to ensure the most appropriate communication of the hotel, the product, and the brand.
• Update information in both the website and other social media.
• Seek sponsors, partnerships, and joint promotions with credit card companies, magazines, airlines, websites, mobile networks, and business associations.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external partners i.e. business associates, sponsors, and guests.
• Be the representative in both internal and external functions and events.
• Develop and foster good rapport with the public, clients, and members of the trade to ensure and promote a good image of the resorts.
• Ensure all sales advertising and marketing efforts provide optimum profit returns.
• Enhance the competence and efficiency skills of the marketing team.
Gather and Maintain the information relating to commercial and business:
• Conduct a marketing survey for all hotels and F&B outlets throughout the year as planned and compile the report with marketing suggestions.
• Analyze/evaluate promotion and advertising as well as marketing performance.
• Know the resort product in intimate detail and be aware of our strengths and weaknesses. Set the program to overcome weaknesses and maximize our strengths.
Manage the daily/weekly/monthly Administrative Responsibilities
Involvement as a Member of the Hotel Leadership Team
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Media, Marketing Communications or Hospitality Management
• Minimum two-four years of work experience as Director or Manager related to Marketing Communication, Social & Media, Public Relations/Events in hotel or tourism industry.
• Relevant strong experience in Marketing Communication and PR management
• Knowledge of current marketing developments/trend in area of expertise.
• Ability to interpret, adapt and apply marketing guidelines and procedures.
• Knowledge of business practices and procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Skills in marketing and sales analysis, formulating marketing policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
