Overview :

The Cloud Platform Owner is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Cloud Platform, based mainly on Microsoft Azure, with a part on Oracle OCI.


This role includes designing and maintaining the roadmap of the Cloud Platform, as well as coordinating the activities of the Platform team members to ensure the proper delivery of the roadmap, and taking part in the build of the Platform.


He / She will make sure the Cloud Platform can be consumed as a Service by the Product Teams and includes all the required features.


He / She will take an active "hands on" role in building the Cloud Platform features.


He / She will be responsible for handing over the Run of the Cloud Platform to the Operations Teams.


He / She will also maintain under control the usage of the Cloud Platform by the consumers (respect of security rules, obsolescence management...)

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the multi-year roadmap of the Cloud Platform based on business requirements and best practices
• Implement Cloud Platform User Stories (hands-on role)
• Maintain a catalog of the services offered by the Cloud Platform
• Provide service templates and standard application blueprints
• Coordinate the activities of the Cloud Platform team members
• Ensure the proper delivery of the roadmap
• Perform the Run of the Cloud Platform until it is handed over to Operations
• Hand over the Run of the Cloud Platform to Operations
• Implement dashboards and follow up on them to maintain under control the usage of the Cloud Platform by the consumers
• Report on the Platform build progress to the Project Managers in charge of the Cloud Platform-related projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 10\+ years of experience
• 5\+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure
• Experience in building a Cloud Landing Zone (mandatory), not only in building Cloud applications infrastructure
• Very good knowledge of infrastructure, especially network and cyber security related infrastructure, which are the major parts of a Cloud Landing Zone
• Very good knowledge of Terraform and CICD (ideally Azure DevOps)
• Experience in working with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban...)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Proven leadership skills
• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in architecture
• Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
• Experience with and appetite for working in an international context
• Fluent English, technical and conversational
