The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet the organization's technical and business needs. You will play a key role in shaping the organization's cloud strategy and architecture, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud services. Responsibilities - Design and develop cloud architecture solutions that align with the organization's business objectives and technical requirements - Lead the planning and implementation of cloud migration, ensuring a smooth transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based environments - Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address technical challenges, providing expert guidance on best practices for cloud deployment and management - Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, tools, and services to enhance the organization's cloud capabilities and performance - Define and enforce cloud security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and applications in the cloud environment - Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure to maintain high availability, scalability, and performance, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues - Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes, enabling effective communication and knowledge sharing across the organization - Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cloud computing, continuously enhancing expertise and contributing to the evolution of the organization's cloud strategy



Requirements

Mandatory - G42 Cloud experience - 2+ years at an SME or Architect level, - Must have expert level knowledge in the core services, networking, CCE (Cloud Container Engine) and Database PaaS services. - Knowledge in DevOps and IaC - Experience in Azure Cloud - 2+ years as an SME / Architect - Must have expert level knowledge in the core services, networking, AKS and Database PaaS services. - Experience in Landing Zone design and deployment. - Experience in Linux Optional - At least one cloud platform professional level certification. - Experience in Azure DevOps
