Job Description

? Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations using various methods such as psychometric tests, interviews, and direct observation to assess and treat psychiatric and substance use disorders.

? Therapeutic Interventions: Providing a range of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, etc., tailored to the needs of the individual patient.

? Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient's goals, and evidence-based practice.

? Collaboration: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, occupational therapists, Dieticians, Physical therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.

? Patient and Family Education : Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options, helping them make informed decisions about care.

? Research and Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and stay up to date with the latest research in clinical psychology.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in the field of psychology
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., D.Clin.Psy)in Psychology or with a focus on Psychology
• Master's degree in Psychology or with a focus on Psychology
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages could be advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED40,000.00 per month
