We are currently seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team and contribute to our mission of comprehensive mental health care.
Position Summary:
The Clinical Psychologist will provide diagnostic assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and consultation services to patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to the continuous development of their therapeutic techniques. Experience with culturally diverse populations and a focus on innovative treatment approaches are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, using therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Participate in clinical supervision, continuing education, and training to stay current with best practices.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Clinical Psychologist in Abu Dhabi or eligibility to obtain a license from the Department of Health (DOH).
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare or mental health setting.
• Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
• Strong therapeutic skills in treating a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders.
• Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment and adapt treatment approaches to the needs of different populations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
