Climbing Lead Instructor
Job Description
Job Scope • To cover all Climbing Supervisory job scope elements if and when required, for the delivery of Material, inspections and maintenance tasks.
• To provide coaching, classes, and progressive training material where required.
• To Route set in line with agreed SOP's, to a high grade and quality.
• To resolve internal maintenance issues where applicable, by safely accessed the wall structures.
• To organize and report on areas of the operation where assigned and applicable.
• To document and organize reports where required
• To ensure standardization in deliveries and assessments
• To priorities oneself in taking on back end tasks such as inspections, installations, etc.
• To priorities oneself for Lead Climb Assessments and more generally dealing with technical customer enquires and information on products, coaching etc.
Essential • Climbing experience
• Route setting experience
• Climbing Qualification (CWA or equivalent)
• Effective communication skills
• Lead Climbing Experience
• 3 years of climbing experience
• Good communication skills
• A friendly, outgoing personality
• To be punctual, well organized and reliable
• To be able to work effectively with other team members
• Good time management and task allocation and rostering skills
