Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Clerk/Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Generate financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
Handle payroll processing and related activities.
Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding billing and payments.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Perform general administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
