Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Cleaner (Waste Collector) to join our waste management team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for accompanying the driver to client locations to collect waste, attaching waste containers to the hydraulic lift shovel, and ensuring that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company protocols. The role requires flexibility in working hours and duties, as shifts may rotate and schedules may change based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Waste Collection and Transportation : Accompany the driver to designated client locations and assist with the safe and efficient collection of waste.
• Hydraulic Lift Operation : Assist in attaching waste bins to the hydraulic lift shovel, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment for waste lifting and disposal.
• Waste Disposal : Ensure collected waste is disposed of according to Tadweer's waste management guidelines and environmental regulations.
• Operational Safety : Follow all safety protocols when operating machinery and handling waste, ensuring a safe working environment for the team.
• Duty Rotation : Be flexible with duty rotations, including shift work on weekends and public holidays, and be adaptable to changes in scheduling based on operational needs.
• Environmental Responsibility : Ensure compliance with waste segregation, recycling, and disposal practices to support sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in waste collection or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating hydraulic lift shovels or similar waste handling equipment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of waste management processes and safety regulations is a plus..
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and duties, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
• Ability to travel with the driver to various client locations across the region.
• Minimum height of 5\.5 feet (165 cm) required for the physical demands of the role.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED1,200\.00 per month
