Job Description

We are looking for a QA/QC Inspector to ensure that all construction activities and materials

comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements for a luxury

residential project in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality

control and assurance within high-end residential or hospitality construction, with a strong focus

on finishing works.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Structural & Civil Works Inspection:

? Conduct inspections of reinforced concrete works, formwork, rebar installations,

and structural steel elements to ensure compliance with design specifications and

safety regulations.

? Verify foundation works, slab casting, columns, beams, and walls for quality

adherence before approvals.

? Monitor soil compaction, waterproofing, and concrete mix design approvals.

? Witness material testing (concrete compressive strength, rebar tensile tests, etc.) and

review test reports.

? Ensure proper installation of MEP embedded items during structural works.

2. Finishing Works Inspection:

? Inspect finishing elements, including flooring, wall treatments, ceilings, joinery,

painting, facade and MEP-related finishing works, ensuring high-quality execution.

? Verify compliance with approved materials, mock-ups, and shop drawings.

? Monitor installation of luxury finishing materials such as marble, glass, and other

decorative elements.

3. Quality Assurance & Control Compliance:

? Ensure all construction activities follow QA/QC procedures, inspection test plans

(ITPs), and method statements.

? Identify, document, and report non-conformances (NCRs) and follow up on corrective

actions.

? Review and verify material submittals, supplier certifications, and compliance with

project specifications.

? Conduct random and scheduled quality audits to ensure site adherence to ISO

standards and Dubai Municipality regulations.

? Collaborate with subcontractors and consultants to resolve quality-related issues.

4. Project Closeout & Handover:

? Conduct pre-handover inspections, snagging, and de-snagging processes.

? Ensure all as-built drawings, operation & maintenance (O&M) manuals, and

warranties are in place before project handover.

? Participate in final testing, commissioning, and client acceptance inspections.

? Prepare final QA/QC reports for project closeout documentation.

Requirements:

? Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

? Min 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC roles within luxury residential, hospitality, or

high-end commercial construction projects.

? Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishing works, and quality standards

(ISO, BS, ASTM, etc.).

? Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and UAE construction regulations.

? Certification in ISO 9001, QA/QC, or related quality management systems is

preferred.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

? Excellent communication and reporting skills in English

? Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
