Civil Supervisor

Department: Facility Management

The Civil Supervisor will oversee and manage all civil maintenance and repair activities for buildings and facilities under the Facility Management department. This role ensures that work is completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all civil maintenance and repair works.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
• Supervise and guide the civil team to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized works and procurement of materials.
• Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Maintain records of completed works and report progress to the FM management.
• Manage and resolve tenant complaints related to civil maintenance promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations during all maintenance activities.

Technical Expertise :

• Water-proofing solutions and repairs.
• Capillary rise and paint peel-off rectifications.
• Tile work, gypsum repairs, and interlock paving.
• Seepage rectification and grouting techniques.
• Masonry and concrete repair works.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques for civil structures.
• Experience with facade and cladding maintenance.
• Carpentry skills for minor furniture repairs.
• Expertise in expansion joint repair works , including sealing, material replacement, and ensuring structural integrity.

Qualifications:

ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in building maintenance and repair works.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
