Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage daily operations on civil construction projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities of civil construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, construction codes, and quality standards.
• Oversee the execution of construction plans and schedules, ensuring work is completed efficiently and accurately.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Monitor material usage and inventory, ensuring that all resources are used effectively and within budget.
• Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve any on-site problems or delays promptly.
• Ensure proper documentation of daily activities, safety reports, and work progress.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and new employees.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship while adhering to environmental and safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (5 years) as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar role within the engineering consultancy industry.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, etc.).
• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
• Certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, or other relevant credentials are an advantage..
