Job Description

We are looking for a Civil Supervisor (Freelance, Golden or dependent visa) for our Oil and Gas Project. The Civil Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the construction activities at the site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves managing the workforce, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage on-site construction activities.

Coordinate with site engineers, workers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Ensure that work is carried out as per the project plan and specifications.

Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines.

Allocate resources effectively and efficiently.

Monitor project progress and prepare reports.

Ensure that construction activities meet quality standards.

Conduct regular inspections and audits.

Address any quality issues promptly.

Enforce safety protocols and procedures on-site.

Conduct safety meetings and training sessions.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes.

Communication and Coordination:

Liaise with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders.

Provide regular updates on project status.

Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.

Maintain accurate records of daily site activities.

Prepare and submit reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions.

Ensure all documentation is up to date and in compliance with company standards.

Monitor project expenses and control costs.

Approve expenditures and manage the budget.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Manage inventory and prevent wastage.

Coordinate with suppliers and vendors.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in construction management or safety management are preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and managerial skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and materials.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work on-site in various weather conditions.

Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift materials as needed.

Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, if required.

Working Conditions:
