:
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Civil / Structural Manager to contribute to the Soudah Development project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles, advanced analysis techniques, and a passion for innovative, sustainable design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Leadership:
+ Provide technical leadership and oversight for all structural engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
+ Lead the development of innovative structural solutions, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
+ Oversee the design, review, and approval of structural engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Project Management:
+ Manage the structural engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
+ Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of structural systems.
+ Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
+ Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Quality Assurance:
+ Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
+ Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
+ Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the structural engineering team.
• Client Relations:
+ Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
+ Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• In-depth knowledge of structural analysis and design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.
• Experience in the design of various structural systems, including steel, concrete, and composite structures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
