Responsibilities for Civil Site Engineer

• Development of civil construction of civil construction specifications, cost estimates, engineering proposals, and project schedules
• Structural steel and foundation design
• Support of substation physical design consisting of layout, conduit, and grounding
• May act as Project Manager or Task Manager on small to medium sized projects
• Expected to mentor and assist junior staff from a technical standpoint
• Monitor the quality activities of the partners and sub-contractors versus the Inspection and Test
• Plan, check the results of the tests are documented according to the relevant standards
• Ensure (or do) opening of NCR's when technical deviations are identified
• Monitor the proper and timeliness delivery of the disposition, implementation and archiving of NCR's opened at Site
• Train the Alstom, sub-contractors and partners for the use of the quality tools

Qualifications for civil site engineer

• Previous experience on projects located in high-density areas dealing with drainage, earthworks, combined service routes (CSR), pavement, utility relocations and protections
• Basic knowledge of storm water analysis and remedial design methods
• Basic knowledge of CAD software, preferably AutoCAD 2012 and Civil 3D or higher
• Manager screens assignments and provides guidance in techniques and procedures to be applied
• Proficient with computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• At least one year of communication tower design and analysis
