Job Description

We are an Engineering Consultancy office located in Business Bay, Dubai and we are looking for a Civil Site Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in an Engineering Consultancy in Dubai.

1. Construction Supervision:

Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities with the main contractor, to ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance of construction activities.

Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction and implement corrective actions as necessary.

. Coordinate with clients for project review and progress.

2. Site Management:

Monitor records of site activities, including daily reports, progress photographs, and site weekly, and monthly meetings.

3. Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC):

Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure construction work meets quality standards and specifications.

Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify compliance with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.

Document and track non-conformities, deviations, and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution and project quality.

4. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:

Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices on-site.

5. Client and Stakeholder Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and regulatory authorities on-site.

Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, address their concerns, and ensure their requirements are complied.

Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

6. Review Submittals :

Assess the technical submittals that are submitted by the main contractor and revert promptly keeping in mind the adequacy of the project.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Consultancy - construction and site engineering.

3. Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, building codes, and permitting processes for both Structural and Concrete Structures.

4. Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools, including AutoCAD and project management software.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

6. Leadership abilities to effectively manage site teams, subcontractors, and laborers.

7. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

8. Valid UAE driving license.

9. Consultant Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism in all aspects of site engineering and construction management.

10. Fluency in English

11. Arabic is an added advantage.
