Job Title: Civil Site Engineer

Job Summary:

The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for the successful execution of civil engineering projects at the construction site. This position involves managing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Site Management

- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that tasks are performed according to project specifications and schedules.

- Coordinate site activities with contractors and subcontractors.

- Manage site logistics and resource allocation (materials, equipment, manpower).

2. Project Planning and Development

- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects from conception to completion.

- Prepare and review construction plans, drawings, and specifications.

- Evaluate project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.

3. Quality Assurance and Control

- Ensure that construction activities comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.

- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.

- Document any non-conformance and implement solutions to rectify issues.

4. Safety Management

- Promote a culture of safety on-site by adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.

- Perform risk assessments and ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place.

- Conduct safety meetings and ensure all personnel are trained in safety protocols.

5. Cost Management

- Monitor project budgets and track expenditures to minimize costs.

- Assist in preparing estimates and tender documents.

6. Reporting and Documentation

- Maintain accurate records of site activities, daily reports, and progress updates.

- Prepare reports for project stakeholders, including management, clients, and regulatory bodies.

7. Team Collaboration

- Work closely with architects, project managers, and other engineering team members.

- Facilitate communication between various stakeholders and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

- Experience:5-10 years of experience in civil engineering and construction management.

- Skills:

- Good understanding of construction methods and materials.

- Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Primavera, Microsoft Project).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

- May require working in various weather conditions and environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
