Civil Qs / Estimation Engineer
Job Description
• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects
• Tendering: Assist in preparing and submitting tenders, including bill of quantities and contract documents.
• Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control costs during project execution, including identifying and mitigating potential cost risks.
• Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using cost estimation software, such as Plan swift, Auto CAD
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Experience:
• Previous experience as a quantity surveyor or similar role.
• Familiarity with UAE construction industry and local regulations.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Other Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience.
• Preferred immediate joiners
