Job Description

: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team in the UAE. The Civil Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all construction activities meet quality standards and comply with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct on-site inspections of materials, workmanship, and construction activities, including foundations, structural elements, earthworks, and other civil engineering works.
• Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate implementation on site.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photographs and documentation of non-conformances, and communicate findings to project managers and engineers.
• Conduct tests on materials and construction methods to verify quality and compliance with standards.
• Identify and document any discrepancies, defects, or deviations from project specifications, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues and ensure project progress.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote safe working practices on-site.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of inspections, test results, and project documentation.
• Assist in the review and approval of project deliverables, including shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and advancements in civil engineering and construction inspection.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of [number] years of experience as a civil inspector, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools, equipment, and software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and materials.
• Excellent technical skills in inspection, testing, and quality control.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE building regulations and standards.
• UAE driving license is a plus.
