Job Description
Job Overview:As a Civil Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the solar construction process on-site. You will be the main point of contact for the project team and will ensure that all work is completed according to the project plans, budget, and schedule. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Ensure that all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns
- Order and maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for the project
- Prepare and submit progress reports, daily logs, and other documentation as required
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or delays
- Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes
