Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Civil Foreman with at least 5 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in overseeing civil construction projects, managing a team of workers, and ensuring that all activities comply with safety standards, quality specifications, and project timelines. The candidate must also have a valid UAE driving license to navigate between project sites and manage logistics.

Key Responsibilities : 1. Supervision & Leadership

• Lead and supervise a team of construction workers on civil projects (e.g., roads, bridges, drainage systems, utility installations).
• Assign tasks to crew members based on their skills and project requirements.
• Provide clear instructions and ensure all workers are following safety protocols.
• Monitor work progress to ensure it meets project deadlines and quality standards.

2. Project Coordination

• Ensure that the team is working according to project plans and specifications.
• Communicate daily with the project manager to provide updates on work progress, challenges, and resource needs.
• Manage resources, including materials and labor, to keep projects running smoothly.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and correct any issues on-site as needed.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the job site, in compliance with OSHA and other local standards.
• Conduct regular safety briefings for the crew, addressing potential hazards and safety measures.
• Ensure that all team members are using proper safety equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

4. Site Inspections & Reporting

• Inspect ongoing work to ensure it complies with engineering plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Report any issues, delays, or changes to the project manager or senior site staff.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and work completed.

5. Equipment & Material Management

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of construction equipment on-site.
• Ensure proper storage, use, and accounting of materials and tools.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of construction materials.

6. Logistics & Travel

• Use your UAE driving license to travel between project sites, supervise multiple locations, and handle logistics for the crew and equipment.
• Ensure that all site needs (tools, materials, transportation) are met efficiently.

Required Qualifications :

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in civil construction (roadworks, grading, drainage, utilities, etc.).
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory (for traveling between project sites and managing logistics).
• Experience in supervisory roles , managing construction teams and daily site operations.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and ability to enforce them effectively.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in time management and organizing construction activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
