Job Description

1. Supervision and Coordination

• Oversee Crew: Manage and direct the work of labourers, equipment operators, and other construction workers.
• Schedule Work: Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines.
• Assign Tasks: Delegate tasks to workers based on their skills and job requirements.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

2. Quality Control

• Inspect Work: Regularly inspect work for quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Correct Deficiencies: Identify and correct any deficiencies or issues in the work performed.

3. Safety Management

• Implement Safety Protocols: Ensure that all workers follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct Safety Meetings: Hold regular safety meetings to discuss potential hazards and safe work practices.
• Accident Reporting: Report any accidents or incidents promptly and accurately.

4. Communication

• Liaise with Management: Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders about project progress and any issues that arise.
• Address Concerns: Address any concerns or complaints from workers or other stakeholders promptly.

5. Resource Management

• Manage Materials: Ensure that materials and supplies are ordered and delivered on time.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.

6. Documentation

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, time sheets, and material usage.
• Report Progress: Prepare and submit regular progress reports to project managers or supervisors.

7. Problem Solving

• Resolve Issues: Quickly and effectively resolve any issues or problems that arise during construction.
• Adapt Plans: Adapt plans and schedules as necessary to address unforeseen challenges
