Job Description

Island Tower Electromechanical Works LLC is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Civil Estimation Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the estimation and cost planning of all Civil Infrastructure projects to ensure the most cost-effective execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates of Civil for construction of infrastructure , District Cooling projects at various design stages (concept, schematic, design development, and construction).
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate prices when necessary.
• Maintain and update a cost database to aid in future project estimates and cost evaluations.
• Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and procurement teams to optimize the cost-effectiveness of projects.
• Provide regular reporting to management, highlighting areas of concern in ongoing projects.
• Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data to aid in estimation and bidding.
• Assist in the preparation of technical and commercial bid submissions.
• Participate in client and internal meetings about cost-related aspects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' of UAE experience in Civil estimation, preferably in Infrastructure & District cooling Projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) cost strategies.
• Proficient in estimation software and tools, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work output.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
