Job Description

Al Sirat Contracting is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer with a specialization in steel works to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in designing, planning, and overseeing steel construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and design of steel structures, including beams, columns, and connections.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for steel fabrication and erection.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Oversee the construction process, including steel fabrication, erection, and inspection.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to steel construction.
• Prepare progress reports and cost estimates for project management.
• Site Supervision: Overseeing construction activities to ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Quality Control: Ensuring that construction meets quality standards.
• Safety Management: Implementing safety measures to protect workers and the public.
• Scheduling: Developing and managing project timelines.
• Budget Control: Monitoring project budgets and costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
