Job Description

We are seeking Civil Engineers with waterproofing roof systems and/additionally conditional survey experience for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections and quality assessments of roof waterproofing systems, including bituminous, PVC, TPO, EPDM, and liquid-applied coatings.
• Develop and implement waterproofing solutions tailored to specific roofing configurations and materials.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturer guidelines, project specifications, and industry standards during waterproofing installations.
• Provide comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and manufacturers to ensure the effective application of waterproofing systems.
• Stay updated on new materials, techniques, and trends in roof waterproofing.
• Conduct thorough structural assessments and conditional surveys for residential and commercial buildings.
• Identify and analyze common issues such as structural damage, leakage, and aging components.
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze data.
• Prepare detailed reports with photographic evidence, recommendations, and compliance findings.
• Provide expert guidance on repairs, maintenance, and compliance with local building codes.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to develop effective remediation plans.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in building assessments, conditional surveys and waterproofing, with a focus on roof systems.

General Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering ( MOFA attested ).
• UAE driving license
• Advanced proficiency in English

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certified Waterproofing Technician (CWT)
• Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC)
• Certified Watershape Waterproofing Specialist (CWWS)
• Structural Inspection Certification

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: AED 6,000 - AED 10,000 per month
• Location: UAE (with travel as required).
