Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Civil Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Jeddah, KSA.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure related to the cleaning and waste management projects in Jeddah Governorate. This role involves ensuring that civil engineering aspects of the projects meet regulatory standards and project specifications.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental regulations.

We envisage success in this role to include: Overseeing the planning, design, and construction of civil engineering works associated with waste management infrastructure. Ensuring that all civil engineering activities comply with local regulations, project requirements, and environmental standards. Conducting site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure that work is being completed to specifications. Collaborating with project teams and contractors to resolve engineering challenges and ensure project success. Preparing and reviewing technical reports, designs, and construction documents for infrastructure projects. Managing the scheduling, budgeting, and quality control aspects of civil engineering works. Providing technical guidance and support to project teams on civil engineering matters. Ensuring that infrastructure development meets safety standards and contributes to sustainable waste management practices. Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in public infrastructure or environmental services, partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Furthermore, you should demonstrate: Strong knowledge of construction practices, infrastructure development, and project management. Familiarity with civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and construction management tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple civil engineering tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic. Certification as a professional engineer (PE) or chartered engineer (CEng) is an advantage. Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
