Key Responsibilities:
• Quantity Take-Offs:
• Accurately perform quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
• Occasionally visit construction sites to physically measure and verify quantities.
• Method Statements & Risk Assessments:
• Prepare and review detailed method statements for construction activities.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols on site in line with industry standards.
• Invoicing & Cost Management:
• Prepare and review monthly progress claims and invoices based on completed works and quantities.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation
• Prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in construction management.
• Skills:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and engineering software AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, method statements, and risk assessments.
• Experience with quantity take-off.
• Familiarity with invoicing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with site teams and stakeholders.
• Other Requirements:
• Willingness to visit sites as needed.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
• Office-based with occasional site visits required.
