Job Profile: Civil Engineer / Civil Site Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer / Civil Site Engineer with a proven track record in building construction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, execution, and on-site management, with a strong ability to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The candidate must possess a

valid Dubai Municipality Certification for Civil Engineers

and demonstrate excellent project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to make informed decisions to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Oversee and manage all phases of building construction, including substructure, superstructure, finishing, and fit-out works. Ensure projects are executed as per design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

Site Supervision and Management:

Supervise on-site activities, including excavation, backfilling, compaction, and leveling. Manage shuttering, de-shuttering, and steel works (raft, footings, columns, beams, slabs) as per bar bending schedules and drawings. Oversee concrete pouring (manual or pump), block work, tiling, plastering, and ceiling works.

Quality Control and Compliance:

Ensure all construction activities comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, design specifications, safety standards, and other regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and address any issues promptly.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Foster a collaborative work environment and provide guidance to junior staff and laborers.

Technical Expertise:

Apply in-depth knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and processes, including waterproofing, tiling, marble works, and MEP coordination. Prepare and review technical drawings, bar bending schedules, and material specifications.

Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:

Identify and resolve on-site challenges promptly to avoid project delays. Make informed decisions to ensure project goals are met efficiently.

Mandatory Requirements:

Valid Dubai Municipality Certification for Civil Engineers.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in building construction, with a strong background in civil engineering and site supervision. Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and bar bending schedules. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong leadership and teamwork abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in on-field management and problem-solving. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

Hands-on experience with substructure and superstructure works, finishing, and fit-out works. Expertise in waterproofing, tiling, plastering, and ceiling works. Familiarity with MEP coordination and clearance processes.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
