Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in high-rise buildings (G+12 approved) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and construction of projects, particularly those that involve G+12 (Ground + 12 floors) or higher structures. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the construction of high-rise building projects (G+12 or higher) from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of the design.
• Review and approve architectural and structural drawings to ensure they align with regulatory and safety standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and cost estimates for large-scale construction projects.
• Ensure that all civil engineering works comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate and manage the activities of contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
• Perform regular site inspections to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee material procurement, ensuring that high-quality materials are used within budgetary constraints.
• Develop and review detailed construction schedules, timelines, and resource allocation for civil engineering works.
• Manage the project budget, track expenditures, and provide timely updates to senior management.
• Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained, including G+12 DM (Development Management) approval.
• Ensure safety standards and best practices are followed on-site to prevent accidents and delays.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) to ensure the successful integration of all systems.
• Prepare and present regular project progress reports to clients, senior management, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in civil engineering, particularly in the construction of high-rise buildings (G+12 or more).
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations, including the approval processes for G+12 structures.
• Experience with structural design and detailing, including knowledge of materials and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Revit, or similar).
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage teams effectively.
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients, contractors, and team members.
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design (LEED certification or equivalent is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer) are highly desirable.
• Experience working on G+12 projects in a leadership or management role.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
• Knowledge of modern construction materials and technologies.
