Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to lead and manage a small team of professionals in executing construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, supervision, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management : Plan, schedule, and oversee civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of engineers, supervisors, and laborers to ensure efficient project execution.
• Design Review : Analyze and interpret engineering designs, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Site Supervision : Monitor daily site activities, ensuring work aligns with project plans, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Resource Management : Manage materials, equipment, and manpower to optimize project performance.
• Quality Control : Conduct inspections and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Compliance : Ensure all work complies with local regulations, safety protocols, and environmental guidelines.
• Stakeholder Communication : Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
• Reporting : Prepare and present regular progress reports, cost estimates, and technical documentation to stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum 5-7 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Technical Expertise :
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and safety regulations.
• Leadership Skills : Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a small team effectively.
• Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, OSHA, or equivalent) are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with local UAE construction laws and regulations.
• Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects in the UAE or GCC region.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other civil engineering design software.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
